Peacemobile Ottawa Valley
Ottawa, Ontario Canada
Barbara Kernohan and Wanda White
Developers and Directors Barbara Kernohan and Wanda White enjoy their work teaching peace to children and their families.
Trained Peace Guides have as much fun sharing peacemaking skills as the children do.
Children learn to experiment and try new skills with encouragement from their Peace Guides.
The four concepts of peace are always emphasized:  Peace for Me, Peace for Us, Peace for Everyone, and Peace for the Planet.
Century School Children wait their turns to practice the fun skills of peacemaking.
Concentration brings good results
Peacemobile Ottawa Valley started in January 2001.  Their first Site Visit was an Open House for an Ottawa Congregation with 50 people attending.  They have since done outdoors festivals, school presentations, and various training sessions.  They've grown from a Young Peacemaker's Club (YPC) to a full working Peacemobile with 28 exhibits, some of which are translated into French as well as English.
